Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC)
EPA’s
Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office (FFRRO)
helps accelerate the transfer of federal property by coordinating environmental cleanup activities and crafting innovative property transfer arrangements. As part of this mission, FFRRO assists in the transfer of both Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) and National Priorities List (NPL) sites. Guidance and policy resulting from Prior BRAC efforts can be found at this site as well as the new
EPA Program Snapshot for BRAC Facilities with EPA Involvement
and a listing of
2005 Proposed BRAC installations already on the National Priorities List (NPL)
for cleanup .
