This initial guidance, developed by CEQ in consultation with the Office of Science and Technology Policy, outlines how agencies can provide workplace charging opportunities under the FAST Act and provides an approach for a uniform fee for the use of existing and new alternating current (AC) Level 1 charging receptacles, commonly known as wall outlets, for the purposes of seeking reimbursement under the FAST Act. This guidance applies to Federal buildings not under the jurisdiction, custody, or control of the GSA.
