Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) Planning to Prevent the Spread of Invasive Species (Classroom) (Shepherdstown, WV)
Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) Planning to Prevent the Spread of Invasive Species is a structured process that assesses a natural resource management activity, identifies possible risks, and facilitates removal or reduction of non-target species. Using practical examples, a case study, and hands-on exercises, participants will develop real-life HACCP plans specifically tailored for natural resource management. The primary intent of this course is to prepare participants to develop and implement HACCP for field and station activities to identify and control non-targets species that may become a threat to the natural resource. This course is offered by U.S. FWS National Conservation Training Center.
