General Description

How to store pesticides, fungicides, rodenticides, and herbicides so that they do not adversely affect the environment.


Summary of Federal Requirements

On the Federal level, mixing and storage is regulated by OSHA.

Summary of State Requirements

Storage must be done according to local fire codes.

States will promulgate regulations on what a pesticide storage building must be built of, the ventilation, any connections to water or drains, the storage of pesticides in tanks, and on what surfaces mixing can be done.
