2024 Federal Environmental Symposium

The Federal Environmental Planning Committee is happy to announce that the new dates for the Federal Environmental Symposium are March 11-14, 2024. This Symposium will now be a fully virtual event, so all presenters and participants can enjoy from the comforts of their own home.

The Federal sustainability community is cordially invited to attend the 2023/24 Federal Environmental Symposium. This year's theme for the Symposium is "Environment: A Mission Asset", focuses on the sharing of best practices, success stories, partnerships, and challenges and achievements of the federal practitioner community as they apply to your Agency's mission. The event schedule, registration instructions, and continuous updates to the event can be found on FedCenter's Symposium website.

New Program Area Additions
Visit our Environmental Justice program area.

FedCenter has recently added 3 new program areas to its lineup of environmental topics. The newly released Environmental Justice program area includes information on federal efforts to integrate environmental justice into all policies, programs, and activities.

Visit our PFAS Resources program area. PFAS Resources consolidates information on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) for federal agencies. This page includes information from federal, state, local and tribal governments, and non-governmental and private organizations, regarding health affects on people, regulatory actions being taken, scientific research being conducted, and its affects on the environment.

Our latest addition to our Program Areas is on Executive Order 14057, Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability, signed by President Biden on December 8, 2021, and EO 14057 Implementing Instructions released August 31, 2022.
