Speakers from federal agencies, and, state, local and private organizations representing a federal agency, are invited to present at this year's Symposium. The Call for Presentation Abstracts is now open through December 29, 2023.
Once speaker abstracts have been accepted by the FES Planning Committee, speakers will be notified via email and asked to confirm their participation. Due to the re-opening of the call for abstracts and its impact on the draft agenda, speaker notification for acceptance of new abstract(s) will be delayed until January 2024. All previously submitted and approved abstracts will still be honored. All presentations will be given virtually via MS Teams.
Registration and Presentation Submittal
Approved speakers who have already registered at the NIH registration website (https://mregs.nih.gov/NIGMS/DL3D-23Z3) should submit their final presentations via email (in PDF format, 10MB or less), and any bio updates, to Joseph "Mike" Stefan (joseph.stefan@nih.gov).
Approved speakers who have not yet registered should do so at the NIH registration website (https://mregs.nih.gov/NIGMS/DL3D-23Z3) and submit their final presentations and bio updates at that time through the NIH website.
All speaker registrations, final presentations and bios should be submitted by Friday, February 23, 2024.

Speakers also note:
1) All presentations will be recorded and are expected to be made publicly available on or before the close of the symposium. If you do not wish to have your presentation posted publicly, please notify Mike Stefan (joseph.stefan@nih.gov); and
2) If you do decide to allow your presentation to be posted publicly, it is your responsibility to ensure that all information presented at/during your presentation by you or your colleagues are cleared for public release by you or your organization(s).
Additional information will be provided to speakers in their presentation acceptance email they receive from the planning committee.
