AWRA Emerging Contaminants of Concern in the Environment: Vail, CO June 25-2, 2007
The abstract deadline for this meeting is February 5. If you are actively participating in emerging contaminants research, education, or policy, please consider participating in this meeting.

The intent of this conference is to bring together researchers, regulators, wastewater and drinking water treatment plant operators and managers, educators, policy makers, public health professionals, and the public for a balanced interdisciplinary forum on emerging contaminants of concern in the environment. Our goals are to present cutting-edge research on emerging contaminant detection, environmental occurrence, transport, risk, and effects; practical information about emerging contaminant risk targeted at educators, health officials, and policy makers; and potential solutions to emerging contaminant problems for wastewater and drinking water treatment professionals. We have an exciting program planned. Theo Colborn, the author of “Our Stolen Future”, has agreed to be one of our keynote speakers.

To be successful, we need to gather experts with varying perspectives on these issues who will enrich this conference in unique and complementary ways. Consequently, we urge you to consider joining us in Vail by submitting an abstract for this conference.
