The course includes identification and classification of hazardous materials and wastes; health effects and personal safety; packaging, labeling, handling, storage, and transportation procedures; contingency planning and release response; and hazardous materials and waste laws, regulations, and policies. This course does not provide training for certification of hazardous cargo shipments.
