Partners for Environmental Performance: Ft Hood and 3M
Fort Hood is the first federal facility to participate in the Federal Environmental Executive, Mr. Edwin Pinero's, Partners for Environmental Performance (PEP) program. The signing took place on October 28, but the program’s original kickoff was just about one year to the day, beginning with a meeting between the two participants and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the organization that facilitated the partnership.
