Optimizing Operations and Maintenance (Virtual, On-Demand)
No matter how sustainable a building may have been in its design and construction, it can only remain so if it is operated responsibly and maintained properly. The operations and maintenance (O&M) of facilities covers the broad spectrum of services required to assure the built environment is available to and will perform the functions for which it was designed and constructed. This course will provide an overview and recommendations to ensure that the O&M practices are optimized and that the long-term goals of economy, energy efficiency, resource conservation, and pollution prevention can be achieved, while meeting the comfort, health, and safety requirements of the tenants.
