For 38 years, the Southeast Recycling Conference & Trade Show (SERC), has been one of the premier recycling conferences. The SERC is an ongoing educational and networking event that focuses on specific Issues related to recycling. The conference was started almost 40 years ago in Montgomery, Alabama. The typical attendance is right at 400 people with the make up being recycling coordinators, solid waste directors, environmental regulators, recycling processors, brokers, recyclers, equipment manufacturers, NGO trade associations, and corporate sustainability reps.
