ARARs Academy (Sept 1-2, 2026) Superfund Course (Philadelphia PA)
Hosted by the U.S EPA Office of Superfund and Emergency Management. The ARARs Academy focuses on applicable or relevant and appropriate requirements (ARARs) in the remedial program, building upon ARAR material presented in other CEC courses such as Fundamentals of Superfund and Remedial Process Training. The course examines ARARs in more detail and applies concepts to site-specific situations. The ARARs Academy is a beginner- to intermediate-level course recommended for EPA RPMs with at least six months' experience, particularly those who have assisted other RPMs with Superfund sites or are preparing to lead Superfund site projects. It also serves as a valuable review for more experienced RPMs. Additionally, the course may benefit EPA site attorneys, other Superfund staff, and state and tribal personnel supporting Superfund sites.
