State DOTs play an important role in directing funding to support the mobility, safety and environmental health of communities through transportation projects, including incorporating green infrastructure practices. This webinar will highlight green infrastructure projects where DOTs used innovative and flexible ways to meet users' needs, achieved cost savings, practiced robust community engagement, and forged strong local partnerships. In Seattle, we will learn how Washington's DOT addresses stormwater requirements for the I-5 bridge replacement by installing green infrastructure projects in the adjacent neighborhoods.
