River Network Webinar Series (Web-based, Multiple Offerings)
A series of five webinars will explore practical approaches to climate resilience, ecological restoration, and community adaptation. Topics include monitoring projects for ecological outcomes and grant compliance (October 22), planning resilient tree-planting projects and preparing for disasters (October 29), using plants and fungi to remediate environmental pollutants (November 5), establishing natural buffer zones to reduce pollution and protect communities from flooding, heat, and fire (November 12), and using community land trusts to support shared land ownership, climate adaptation, and community decision-making (November 19). All webinars are scheduled for Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. ET (2:00 p.m. CT/12:00 p.m. PT). You may choose whichever webinar or webinars best align with your interests and schedule; you do not need to attend the entire series.
