December 2021
In 2021, we want to use the virtual platform to connect with the community on timely ecosystem services topics and elicit input to develop a set of recommendations to help move the science into practice. With this input we will charge a small writing team with formalizing the ACES community perspective and communicate that to policy makers. We will resume our normal, bi-annual conference schedule, so save the dates December 12-16, 2022, for our next in-person conference. More information on location will be sent at a later date.
The American Clean Power Association will host CLEANPOWER 2021, which will feature topics related to utility-scale wind, solar, storage, and transmission. The focus is to bring together the different technologies that make up the renewables mix--land-based wind, offshore wind, solar, storage, and transmission--as well as the different segments within the industries: manufacturers, construction firms, owner-operators, utilities, financial firms, and corporate entities.
While we are increasingly optimistic about the Fall, we have rescheduled Brownfields 2021, yes again, from its September dates to December 8 – 11, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Cosponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), the National Brownfields Training Conference is the largest gathering of stakeholders focused on cleaning up and reusing formerly utilized commercial and industrial properties. Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is the proud host of the 13th IWA International Conference on Water Reclamation and Reuse to be held from 16th- 20th January 2022. The central theme of the conference is "Water Reuse: Overcoming the Challenges of Growth and Climate Change" and is intended to help progress towards the creation of sustainable water reuse solutions through multidisciplinary cooperation and learning from the extensive experience already gathered in countries around the world. The framework surrounding the central theme of the conference will deal with the full range of topics relating to water reclamation and reuse. There will be a focus on innovations and solutions that address water stress in integrated fashion from the three different angles of water reuse adoption, water reuse implementation and the removal of water reuse bottlenecks.
For 50 years, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has been the nation's recognized leader in legislative, regulatory and legal advocacy on the full spectrum of clean water issues, as well as a top technical resource for water management, sustainability and ecosystem protection interests. NACWA represents public wastewater and stormwater agencies of all sizes nationwide. The Association's unique and growing network strengthens the advocacy voice for all member utilities, and ensures they have the tools necessary to provide affordable and sustainable clean water for all.

March 2022
March 2022 will mark the thirty-first annual gathering of environmental professionals for the Conference on Soil, Water, Energy, and Air. For the past thirty years, this annual conference has helped bring the environmental science community closer together by providing a forum to facilitate the exchange of information of technological advances, new scientific achievements, and the effectiveness of standing environmental regulation programs. The 31st International Conference on Soil, Water, Energy, and Air and AEHS Foundation Semi-Annual Meeting offers attendees an opportunity to exchange findings, ideas, and recommendations in a professional setting. The strong and diverse technical program is customized each year to meet the changing needs of the environmental field
The purpose of the Regional Chapter shall be to: 1. Foster landscape ecology research and practice across North America; 2. Provide a link between persons concerned with landscape ecology in North America, the International Association for Landscape Ecology, and other regional associations of IALE; 3. Promote interdisciplinary research and communication among scientists, planners, and other professionals concerned with landscape ecology and colleagues in other countries under the aegis of the International Association for Landscape Ecology; and 4. Promote diversity and inclusion and champion participation in landscape ecology regardless of race, religion, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status. The Regional Chapter is organized and operated solely for scientific and educational purposes.

The Society of Architectural Historians looks forward to hosting our 75th Annual International Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, April 27–May 1, 2022. SAH members from around the world will convene at the Westin Pittsburgh to share new research on the history of the built environment. The program will include 37 paper sessions, keynote talks, social receptions, a city seminar, and architecture tours in Pittsburgh and nearby areas. The conference will also include a series of roundtables that will be presented online throughout the month of May.
