This act (16 USC 703-711, last amended in December 1989), is a Federal law that enforces international conventions for the protection of migratory birds and game animals to which the United States is a party.

The purpose of this study of five Army buildings was to investigate current building features and construction methods and materials to optimize energy reduction and sustainability across 15 climate zones. The approach of this study was to take existing building designs and optimize the energy performance of each building using specific energy efficiency measures (individually and separately and as integrated "packages") in order to build the most energy efficient buildings possible before looking at options like renewables and cogeneration. The study also considers the impact on operations and maintenance by energy system, and considers measures to reduce indoor and outdoor potable water use.

The International Council on Nanotechnology (ICON) and Rice University's Center for Biological and Environmental Nanotechnology (CBEN) have developed the first online database compiling scientific research related to the benefits and risks of nanotechnologies. The free database can be searched by keywords, the name of the author of a study, type of nanoparticle, type of experiment, and other search terms, ICON and CBEN said in their announcement.

This is a climate-visualization website tool from the Interior Department's U.S. Geological Survey. The tool gives citizens and resource managers the opportunity to look at climate-driven impacts on watersheds and map projected changes at the local, regional, state and watershed levels. The tool includes the historical and future climate projections from 30 of the downscaled models for two of the RCP emission scenarios, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5. The NCCA describes the results of a nationwide coastal probabilistic survey that was conducted in the summer of 2010 by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its state, tribal, and federal partners.
