The Center for the Advancement of Sustainability Innovations (CASI), established by the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in the fall of 2006 and hosted by the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL), focuses the value of ERDC expertise, technologies and partnerships toward helping the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Army, and the Department of Defense (DoD) achieve more sustainable facilities and operations.
